A SMALL DUPLEX ON THE LAKE, OGGEBBIO

The project of the renovation of a small duplex apartment on the North-West side of Lake Maggiore in Piedmont, which is part of a lakewise large condominium whci inlcude pool and privare beach buried in an immense park;

the property became the lake refuge of a middle age managers form central Germany;

The unit is a mosaic of speces composed of a living room with the main entrance, a kirchen and dining area and a staricase collecting to the two upper bedrooms and bathroom;

a warm lake&modern style which combines wood, stone, flashed walls painted in a very warm and light sand color, a voltes’ ceiling on the ground floor as the heritage of a cantine and a plasterboard ceiling on the upper floor also to include technical plants;

the replacement of the wood windows and shutters with new PVC units, new electricals, plumbing and heating, the restoration of two fireplaces in the living and kitchen rooms give a full new identity to the volumes without renouncing to the heritage of the building;

a dimmerable lighting system creates a warm and comfortable mood and a smart remote control of the major technicals of the unit gives the owenres the chance to manage the climate of the volume in preparation of their coming;

small volume, not large investment through a warm and personally dedicated design to create an escape refuge buried in a nature’s jewel;
